08/26: Rivera saves comeback win for Yanks vs BlueJays

Posted by: David
On the same night that his mother appeared at the Little League World Series to support their native Panama team, Mariano Rivera recorded his 44th save of the year. He worked a perfect ninth again striking out two of the three batters. Its his 327th career save and puts him only three behind John Wetteland for 8th all time. Unfortunately the Panama team lost 6-2 in 10 innings.
