From the
New York Daily News:
The ninth, Tadahito Iguchi led off with a fly ball off the right field wall that was inches away from home run country. He was on second when Thome walked. Rivera, who isn't known to throw double-play balls, got a second double play from Paul Konerko. And struck out Jermaine Dye. Cooperstown will probably want that ball but Mo is saving it for Mo.
"I want it," he said. "I would give them something else. Not the ball."
