After 7 innings of 8 hit, 2 run ball, Randy was relieved by Kyle Farnsworth, who pitched a 1-2-3 8th to setup the 9th for Mo.
He allowed a single to Robb Quinlan, who was allowed to take second on fielder indifference. Jose Molina, Reggie Willits and Chone Figgins are grounded out in order, however, to end it. With the Yankees up 5, it wasn't a save situation, but it does pull down Mo's ERA to 1.86.
