Mariano Rivera hadn't pitched since last Sunday but no fear Yankee fans - he did it again. He entered the game in the bottom of the ninth with the Yankees leading 5-4 and held on to earn his 27th save of the season.

Kevin Millar was the first batter and he came into the AB hitting .462 lifetime vs. Mo. Rivera retired him on a pop fly to center for the first out. Jeff Conine battled and eventually grounded a single through the hole past Jeter. Ramon Hernandez was next and battled Mo to a 3-2 count but he was jammed by a cutter inside and grounded into a game ending double play.

The save for Rivera is the 406th of his career and his season ERA now stands at 1.88.
