09/14: Mo Throws Off Flat Ground, Feels Good

Posted by: Patrick
According to Yankees.com:

Mariano Rivera had his most encouraging day in almost two weeks, throwing 25 pitches without feeling any tightness in his right forearm. ...

Rivera's next step will be a bullpen session Saturday, an exercise he will likely repeat one more time before getting into a game. Rivera believes that he needs to pitch in just two or three games to tune up for the postseason, leaving plenty of time.
