Marco Scutaro tagged Mariano Rivera and the Yankees with a walk off three run game winning homer with two outs in the bottom of the ninth to beat the Yankees 5-4.
Rivera had retired Eric Chavez and Bobby Crosby to start the inning but then Todd Walker singled to left on the first pitch and Jason Kendall battled a walk on a nine pitch at bat. Scutaro was down 0-2 and Rivera's pitch got too much of the plate and Scutaro hit if off the foul pole in left to win the game.
Rivera is 1-1 on the season with 1 blown save. His ERA now stands at 5.79.
