Mariano Rivera gained his 8th save of the season as the Yankees won their seventh straight game and pulled their record to .500 on the season.
He pitched a perfect ninth by striking out Mark Reynolds, getting Carlos Quentin to ground to second and retiring Chris Snyder on a fly ball to center to end the game.
Rivera is 2-3 on the season with 8 saves in 10 save opportunities and his ERA now stands at 3.96.
