Mo is cruising through American League lineups. The Sandman earned his 8th consective save to start the season with a perfect ninth inning to help the Yankees defeat the Indians 5-2.
Rivera faced Franklin Gutierrez to start the inning and he simply overmatched him and blew him away with high heat for the first out. Jason Michaels battled but eventually flew out to right for the second out. David Dellucci then grounded to second to end the game.
