Mo's
in consistency in non-save situations continued on Friday night as he took the loss against the Angels in what ended as a 1-0 game.
After being summoned, he immediately found himself in trouble, by walking Mark Teixeira. This was followed by a Vladimir Guerrero single, moving Reggie Willits (who had pinch run for Teixeira) to third. Torii Hunter added another single, scoring Willits. Without making a single out, the Angels now had the lead with runners on first and second and no outs.
The loss was Mo's fourth of the season and the earned run (the second in as many games and fifth in his last ten) takes his ERA up to 1.49, the highest it has been this season.
