10/31: Jeter: "[Mariano Rivera] a Once-in-a-Lifetime Player"

Posted by: Patrick
Jack Curry of the Times has some reflections from Derek Jeter on Mariano Rivera. Among them:

“Mo, he’s a once-in-a-lifetime player,” Jeter said. “There’s no one that’s done what he’s done. There’ll probably be no one that’ll come out and do what he’s done afterwards. It’s just something that you don’t see, his longevity, his consistency. I just don’t think you’ll see it again.”

Rigth words and statement made by Derek Jeter regarding Mariano's accomplishment in the MLB for almost 13 years; Consistency and Longevity. Arriba Mariano Rivera, the Panamanian Sensational. I believe that when Mo retire in the future, nobody will forget the No. 42.
