02/18: Mo Met with Hal Steinbrenner to Campaign for Pettitte Return

Posted by: Patrick
Newsday's Kat O'Brien shares a story about a trip that Mariano Rivera made on January 6. On the day that Mark Teixeira was introduced as a Yankee, Mo drove from his home to the Stadium to meet with Hal Steinbrenner. The topic of the meeting? Andy Pettitte. Mo explained why he felt that Pettitte was an important piece of the puzzle and why the Yankees should bring him back.

it only shows that Mo is not only the greatest reliever of all times, but He is a very kind of person and a good friend also.....
blessings from God to him.....

I have a good feeling about the year. Despite the rough start with A-Rod, I think that the Yankees will be stonger as a team and will not be a group of individuals like they've been the past couple of years. Mo, Jeter, Posada, and Pettitte will stand with Sabathia, Teixera, Cano, Melky, and A-Rod and bring back the championship ways. I can't wait to see Mo, standing on the mound victorious - after the final pitch of the 2009 World Series.

Thanks for the comments, Mr. Gomez and Mr. Lewis-More. I'm feeling good about this season, too! :) Looking forward to some actual baseball.
