03/28: Mo Needs Just Five Pitches to Set Aside Reds

Posted by: Patrick
On Friday, Mariano Rivera finished off the Reds, in the ninth inning, with just five pitches. And that included a strikeout! Peter Abraham breaks down Mo's spring, thus far. 7 strikeouts, 6 ground outs, 2 fly outs, 1 foul pop out and 1 single (Gerald Laird).

Mariano looks great with a great command of his pitch and he will be ready for the season. No doubts, that the new NYY pitching staff are much better than few years ago; so Mo will have more save opportunities. Let's go Mariano Rivera. Arriba Mo.
