Posted by: Patrick
The AP reports that Mariano Rivera will have a bullpen session on Saturday and may get back into game action on Sunday. He had hoped to have the session today.

I don't know if I agree with those conclusions about Jeter, Pettitte and Posada, but I am a huge, huge Mo fan, of course. I'm also a Yankee fan and was one before Mo came along.
A player like Mo is a once in a lifetime type of player. He has been a vital piece of our success over the past 13-14 years. But, all good things must come to an end. When that time comes, we'll have a new closer and will have to find one that does the job. We can't expect that person to be a new Mo, though, as that would be unfair and, honestly, we've been spoiled by Mo. :) That said, let's not think about it, yet. lol. Mo is still extraordinarily dominant. :) Patrick
