03/29: Rivera Pitches Scoreless Second Inning In Rain Shortened Tilt

Posted by: David
All the best laid plans as they say. Sunday afternoon was suppose to be a day for Andy Pettitte to get a good deal of work in. With the forecast being a two hour delay at the start, Girardi held back Pettitte from starting. The weatherman did not cooperate and the game started on time. Pettitte came in for the fourth but the rains came and never stopped.

As for Mo he did pitch a scoreless second inning. He hit a batter and struck out one. It was the fifth outing for Mo who hasn't allowed a run to score this Spring.
