03/30: Rivera Pitches Perfect Eighth Inning as Yankees Beat Jays 5-3

Posted by: David
It wasn't vintage Mo, but nontheless it was another perfect inning. Rivera came in for the eighth inning and faced Ruiz to start the inning. He lined a ball hard up the middle which the second basemen caught back handed for the first out. Aaron Matthews then struck out and McCoy lined out hard to third to end the inning.

For Rivera it was his 5th official appearance of the spring and sixth overall counting an intrasquad game. He has four holds on the spring and his ERA remains perfect at 0.00.
