Joel Sherman of the Post
has some fun facts on Mo. Here's one of them:
With Trevor Hoffman and Billy Wagner retiring, Rivera is not only No. 1 among active players in saves, but right now the closest to him in any camp is Jason Isringhausen with 293. That Secreteriat-at-the-Belmont gap between the two is 265 saves. But here is the complete stunner to me: If Isringhausen does not make the Mets, the next two active save leaders after Rivera would be the Franciscos, Cordero (290) and Rodriguez (268). If you add their save totals together you get 558. That is exactly how many Rivera has all by himself.
