04/23: Rivera Saves Sabathia's 2nd Victory

Derek Jeter had four hits, A-Rod hit a three run home run and Curtis Granderson led off the scoring with a two run single in the first with two outs. Derek Holland is now 0-5 against the Yankees in his career.

Sabathia went 8 innings and allowed four runs to the high powered Texas Rangers offense.

Rivera faced Nelson Cruz to start the inning and on the sixth pitch of the AB Cruz lined to deep right which Swisher went back and caught in front of the wall for the first out of the inning. Torrealba flew out to center for the second out and then Mitch Moreland pinch hit for Snyder. Snyder worked the count to 3-1 but grounded out to Teixeira at first with Mo covering to end the game.

Rivera is 0-1 on the season with 4 saves in 5 save opportunities and his 2012 season ERA now stands at 2.84
