Mariano Rivera was as usual again on Sunday afternoon in Tampa. His third appearance of the spring was not quite as automatic since he gave up a two out double to Josh Barfield. He started the fifth inning by getting Michael Aubrey to fly to right for the first out. Trevor Crow then grounded to Jeter at short befor the Barfield double. David Dellucci ended the inning by popping up to Jeter.
In three appearances Rivera has pitched three innings and retired nine of the ten batters he has faced.
