Mariano Rivera was simply awesome again! He came in the ninth with only a one run lead (2-1) and caught Hairston looking and then got Greene and Barrett swinging to end the game.
For Rivera, he is 2-2 on the season with 20 saves in as many save opportunities and his 2008 season ERA now stands at 0.79. For the Yankees, it was their 7th straight win and they are now only five games behind the Boston Red Sox and only four in the loss column.
